Born from three primal archetypes—The Widow of Shadows, The Widow of Blood, The Widow of Light—the 49 Widows are luminous custodians of memory. Where grief once defined “widow,” these portraits transmute loss into steadfast love: each figure cradles a remnant flame, her veil shimmering with the stories she refuses to let die.
Why 49?
One for every collector who believed in my work when it was still just a whisper. Each Widow is paired to a specific 1 / 1 sale, painted with colours, textures, or motifs that echo the original piece—so every portrait becomes a private reunion between artist and patron.
