Adam & Eve

We are pleased to announce the celebration of Anthony’s collaboration with the Grey Matter Social Space, which sees him launch his own drink at the space and debut a stunning new collection based on the Creation Story. Join Chef Imoteda and Grey Matter as they host an evening auction for this latest collection.

The live auction shall take place on Sunday 3rd November at 20.30 WAT. In order to enter please register your details to be issued with a paddle number, which will be communicated to you before the auction begins. 

Measures have been put into place to facilitate bids from across the globe in a variety of fiat and crypto currencies as well as listing on SuperRare and Manifold. Each piece is accompanied by an NFT which will be transferred in tandem with the physical piece, so if you are not able to make it but are interested in collecting, then please use the registration link to communicate this and we will endeavour to arrange for an agent to represent you at the auction over the phone or via Zoom.

On the evening of the auction, the 3 lots available will be announced and opened for live bids one after the other. In addition to these lots, Bidder’s editions of three additional pieces will be awarded to collectors who issue the first bids for each lot, and in the case of “Adam & Eve”, also awarded to the winner of the auction. Successful bidders should expect to be able to collect their newly acquired pieces (physical and/or digital) as early as on the night of the auction, should they so choose.

The Process

Each painting in this collection has been handpainted by the artist, using skills he has developed after almost a decade in the digital painting space. Building on traditional methods, he works from layer to layer, as one would with physical paint. This brilliant use of texture and technique is a major reason why Anthony’s work shines amongst his contemporaries, drawing even digital art skeptics into a new world.
